My daughter sent me a sampler pak, and boy was i blown away. The Ethiopean, my first taste was out of this world. Ive been drinking coffee since knee high, and this brew just brought me back to my childhood days. This is something worth writing home about. The aroma and the taste of the coffee actually matched. That my friends is the tuffest animal to achieve. These guys did the impossible. Im sold.

First time here and we were provided a great overview of the coffee roaster and all of their products. It will take us awhile to work through all of their different blends, but we're starting with a medium and a dark.

I've been buying whole beans from here around 6 months, since I found them. I like the variety - a good number of roasts and varieties to choose from without getting lost in selection. The roasters and staff have been really helpful, reviewing coffee selection, processing and roasting, and preparation, giving me a better idea about what I'm buying and which preparation is better for certain varieties. They will fill your own jar at a slight discount, which is great! Although, I've been enjoying my coffees a hundred times more since I started using Five Star, so the shelf prices are more than worth it. They also brew and sell prepared drip coffee, cold nitrous, and espresso. I happily drive the 15-20 mins from Apex to visit Five Star and refill my stores. So happy I found you guys.
